Goldie WOLF Obituary

WOLF, Goldie (1915-2010) Goldie was born in Salina, Utah, on June 7, 1915, to Max and Annie Cohen. She lived in Salina until she left for Los Angeles to attend UCLA. In 1939 she married Albert, who was her great love and best friend, until his death in 2000. Together, they had three children, Michael (Susan), Diane Wolf, and Patricia Buckly (Ron). She is survived by her children, her grandchildren, Alexandra Wolf (Ben), Jonathan Wolf, Rachel Buckly and Hannah Buckly, and her sister, Dorothy Brenner. She was predeceased by her sister, Joann Mintz, and brother, Lee J. Cohen. She is also survived by her granddogs, Lili and Sophie, and grandcat, Luca Brasi. Goldie was a gifted sculptor, and a life force to all who knew her. In addition to her family, Goldie leaves many friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Otis College of Art and Design, or the American Youth Symphony in Los Angeles. Services Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Hillside Mortuary (800) 576-1994.
