Dear Isabel and the Lew family, we'll always treasure great memories of Mister Lew basking in the center of aromatic warmth in your laughter and food-filled kitchen, with a stack of People's Daily World and books. It was through his graces that we attended the ANC's Chris Hani's Los Angeles speech before Hani was assassinated in South Africa. He always followed and had thought-provoking things to say about major issues. I will drink many cups of hot tea in his memory and the memory of others of his generation who shared those get togethers, the laughter and Isabel's wonderful cooking. We hope you can all come over for tea at our place sometime soon. Peace--- Sesshu Foster

Dear Mom Isabel, and brothers Jmmy, Celina and Maritza, have Tio Jimmy in my mind, a man of peace and writes, maybe my youth and haughtiness did not allow me to share more of their thoughts, but I had the pleasure of spending time with her wonderful family and his great respect for it, thanks Tio Jimmy for allowing me the honor to be part of your family and to open the door and the heart of your family to help me be what I am now, Alberto d'Argence
