A psychologist and family and marriage counselor, died November 13, 2010 in Honolulu. She was born in Los Angeles, California.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Chad; daughter, Jill Pargoe and 2 grandchildren.
Visitation 12 to 1:00 p.m. Sun., Nov. 21, 2010 at Borthwick Mortuary; graveside services and burial 2:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Borthwick Mortuary, Hon., HI.

Our family was quite stunned and devistated to hear of Joyce's passing. She was a very intelligent, unique and down-to-earth person. We had pleasant visits while in Fresno on many Thanksgiving dinners and family events. We will miss her. Our prayers go out to Jerry, Chad and Jill, grand kids and other family members and friends as they grieve and also rember the joy she brought. Love and blessings Al, Laura Christina, Kayla and Alissa Kitay.
