June COLEMAN Obituary

COLEMAN, June June 3, 1921 - October 26, 2010 June was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Max and Annette Juster (deceased) along with her siblings who predeceased her, Gerald Juster and Regina Gordon. She moved with her family to Santa Monica more than fifty years ago. She had a long and loving marriage with Dr. William Coleman (deceased). Together, they are the proud parents to Nancy (Paul), Larry (Denise) and Karen, grandparents to Faith, Atzmah, Victor, Mara, Michael and Joshua and great-grandparents to Neville. June lived a vibrant life surrounded by friends and family, always up for a political debate, a bridge game, a trip to the symphony or any UCLA sporting event. She was well known because her home served as the polling precinct for over forty years of local, state, and national elections. June was civically engaged and was passionate about educating others about the issues of the day.
Her family and friends will gather at 3 p.m. today, Thursday, October 28th, at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra.
