Kurt was a special guy for sure. Even though I was not near to him he treated me like a son. Never forgot who I was or where I lived. Met him back in the old store before it was closed and every few years stopped by to say hello! I'll miss him...they don't make em like that anymore! One quality guy!

I always looked forward to my visits with Kurt. He always made me feel incredibly welcome. I will remember his smile, his humor, and the sparkling Corvette parked out front.

Kurt Lorig was not only a boss, but he was a friend and a part of my family! I am greatly saddened and will miss him terribly! Although i have moved on from Anaheim Patio i will never forget what he has taught me bringing me into the industry! What a great man who created a great family owned business from the ground up! You just dont find that anymore.....My love to all the family, he was truly a one and only. I will never forget all the little things he did like buying me a cup of tea when i had the flu....He had a huge heart but was one the strongest people i knew. I miss you Mr. Lorig. RIP Shawn Rogers Littleton, CO.

Dear Phyllis and Bonnie,
Charlotte and my prayers are with you during your time of grieving.
We always enjoyed seeing Kurt's smile as he entered our showroom. I am certainly glad that our industry was able to show him how respected he was by everyone he touched in his long career.

Kurt was one of the first people I met when starting out my career in the BBQ business. He was probably one of the toughest people I had to call on but over the years he was a very positive influence on me. When I was in the hospital last year, Kurt was one of the first people to call and check on me. He will be missed.
