Nathan Faerber Obituary
August 27, 1915 - October 10. 2010
Nathan (John) Faerber passed away on Oct. 10, 2010 suddenly, after surviving the Holocaust to go on and live a beautiful life. Born in Slovakia he was an underground war hero who saved many lives by fighting the Nazis. Coming to the United States in 1948 he became a U.S. citizen. He worked in the motion picture industry, working on movie and TV sets for Paramount, MGM, and Universal studios.
He was a loving husband to Lillian Weinberg and was the Beloved father of Peter (wife Linda), uncle of Larry Lester, and father, grandfather and great grandfather, to all of his wife's children.
Services will be held Wed Oct. 13 at 10am. Mt Sinai Memorial Parks and Mortuaries, Hollywood Hills.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hadassah.
