Yet another year has passed without you. It was eleven years on the 10th. Even after all this time it's still hard to believe you have gone. How I wish you could have stayed...... I just miss you more and more.
Love always.

Unbelievably it's now over ten years since you left us and not a day goes by when I don't think of you and miss you so much with each passing year.
Much love

Nine years. So hard to believe. I think of you all the time and remember the good times. I'm sure wherever you are Mikey is still with you. You two need to kick a tree for me. I'm still waiting for a long missed phone call from you. Til we meet again. Love always.

It's eight years. Still waiting for you to ring. As you would say, "hang em if they can't take a joke" (or something like that). It would be nice to know what you and Mikey are up to apart from flicking that light. Miss your crazy ways.
Love always.

I just cannot believe it has been over seven years since we said goodbye. I miss you more as each year goes by. My only consolation is that I am sure you are whooping it up kicking trees with the old gang.

I met Sy at a time in my life when I was between jobs. I met him at my first job, working with the elderly, and then again at our next job. He was the most sincere person I've ever met and although he was a lot older than me, I could tell he was young at heart and gave everyone his most upright attention and respect. I felt like he was part of my subconscious because he was always the first to say whatever was on my mind, I felt close to him. He was the kind of person who you could talk to for hours about anything. He was the first person I told about my acceptance into my university and the first to congratulate me, he was like a father figure. I still think of him til this day. From the time we meet, until the last time I saw him in that hospital bed. He had high spirits and was always optimistic, even when times were tough. I wish I could call him up and ask him how he is, on the contrary, he'll always be a memory I frequently revisit.

Sy,only just heard of your passing today 26/2/2014.Thanks for all the good times mate, many memories and your generosity very special, embedded and will stay with me forever. The time, as a guest in your home, traveling down the LA highway smoking in an open convertible, a ride that just went forever, and one which I will never forget. I will always remember you and the great moments we spent with each other, Lorraine also misses those very long chats on the phone. There are some people you would like to meet in the afterlife, and you are one. Never forgotten, till we meet again my friend.

Sy,
After moving to Spokane it looks like I have taken too long to contact you and get caught up. We had some fun times with Brookdale in Ventura. I guess I will have to catch you on the other side.
Your friend,
Tom

Sy passed far too soon after a heck of a fight. He would have been so thrilled to know how you cared. He is very much missed.

Sy, I missed you by only a couple of weeks. I decided to look you up and found you were working only a few miles north of me. Imagine my shock when the receptionist told me of your passing just a couple of weeks previous. Sorry we missed again crossing paths, but Godspeed, buddy. You were a "hoot" to be with! -Marv-

Sy, you left too soon. Fond memories of your fun-loving nature. One funny one sticks out -- why I don't know, but it does -- you were at the TV control board, and glancing at my pack of cigarettes said "what are we smoking?" I've thought of you down through the years; wish we could have crossed paths again. I'll miss ya, babe. Cole Mallard

Sy, what memories we made at AFPN-Clark!
Those were the days of old when we experienced the challenge of working at a job we loved in a far away land, exotic and beautiful. Life-long bonds were formed that remain to this day.
You will always be a part of me brother. We miss you! Charley Wooden

Sy, from all those times sharing late broadcast shifts at AFPN-Clark, to Bamboo Bowl assignments as well as cruising Balibago, you gave our team a touch of MASH, mixing 'getting the job done right' with a great blend of personality & humor. Thank You! Bob Cleveland
