Sylvia (Syvia) was an admirable person. The words in the book "Yellow Star" were put in a way no book could compare to. At just 8 she was even more brave than I. I could not image this devastation, and for her to live through it and speak about it is truly amazing. She had a full life and has changed so many others' lives because we know her story. I only wish I could've met her. Her words are inspiring and I would like to light a candle in remembrance of this amazing woman who undertook so much in life. I thank her for giving me more to look at in life because of her experience. May she always teach people the importance of love in this world of constant change, I hope she lays peacefully with her loved ones lost so long ago.
