Valerie Stanton-Lewis Obituary

February 28, 1944 - October 12, 2017 Valerie Stanton Lewis passed away suddenly on October 12th while visiting family and friends in England. The cause of death was sepsis. She leaves behind her brother Tony, and a sister Maureen. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Lewis. Valerie was an actress and model. She appeared in many movies including "The Carry On" series and was a semi-regular on the Benny Hill show. Valerie had a bright, shining personality and lit up every room she entered. Like "Tinker Bell," forever young, naive and a joy to know. Valerie had just found love again with her partner Eddie and we were all so thrilled for her. Her friends, of which there were many, are devastated by her loss. A beautiful light has gone out in our lives. Rest In Peace, darling Val.

Dearest Val,
I hope you know how often I think of you. Every time I see a bright eyed, sprightly blonde or hear a cute cockney accent , i turn my head hopefully. I drive on the Strip, and I think of you. I pass a blond in an open convertible, and i hear your laughter. I walk up the stairs at Petit Four and enter wanting to hug ...YOU. Your sudden passing left a hole in me, and I'm haunted by the lack of closure. Unable to contact any of your friends, like Lexie or Dollie, I can't talk about you or reminisce with anyone because I never had their contacts, nor them mine. If there was a service or celebration of any kind, I wasn't aware. It's been a year since that shocking phone call from your number, and I'm still left numb. You were indeed a ray of sunshine wherever you were. I will always think of our fun and giggles over a glass of wine. We shared special times in each other's lives, and you will always be in my heart. And I'm so happy you and Eddie found each other when you did. Much, much love to you, Pat
