Ken HIROSHIGE Obituary

HIROSHIGE, Ken Kenichi Born in Hollywood, CA on January 1, 1940. He went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2011. Ken is survived by his 92-year old mother, Aiko Hiroshige, his loving wife, Judy and his devoted children, Kimberly Hiroshige-Okumura, D.D.S. and Stephen Hiroshige, D.D.S. His grandchildren include Kenneth Okumura (17years old), Ryan Hiroshige (13 years old), Kaylyn Hiroshige (11 years old), and Jayden (5 years old). A USC Graduate Student, USC Pharmacist and USC Dentist, Ken enjoyed his careers immensely. 30 years in private dental practice in Gardena, he blessed many lives with his words of wisdom and excellent quality dental care. In addition, he was actively involved in Gardena Valley Baptist Church serving as Treasurer, Secretary, Moderator, and other various positions on the Board of Deacons. Ken taught all ages of Sunday School Classes for over 55 years. In addition, he enjoyed the Golf Fellowship as honorary Bible teacher. JEMS ministries included High School Camp, College Camp, Career Camp as Camp Director.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10:30am at Gardena Valley Baptist Church located at 1630 W. 158th Street, Gardena, CA 90247. Reception to follow. Burial Service will be held privately at Green Hills Memorial Park. www.fukuimortuary.com (213) 626-0441
