James Bracy Obituary

February 25, 1944 - February 3, 2014 Dr. Bracy was on medical leave from the Pan African Studies Department at California State University, Northridge at the time of his unexpected death. He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Dr. Jean E. Daniels, and family, friends, and colleagues to mourn his passing. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Diabetes Association in his memory.

I will miss Dr. Bracy fro taking his classes and working in the PAS Dept. I will always remember him saying "With my smarts I will go far" in his Boston accent. He was a great man and will definitely be missed.

I first met Dr. Bracy in the Fall of 1999 when I was a student at Cal State Northridge and I took his PAS 320 class, the following spring I took PAS 325.
He was a great man, and will be missed by all.
