June RIDDELL Obituary

June 15, 1923 - January 30, 2015 June Vincent Riddell, 91, passed away on January 30, 2015 in Studio City, CA. Born June Shirley Thomason on June 15, 1923, in Princeton, WV, Ms. Riddell was a longtime resident of Desert Hot Springs, CA. June was very proud to have been a staff sergeant in the Marines during WWII. She sang in groups such as The Tune Tailors, and performed support vocals on the 1948 hit "You Call Everybody Darling" by Al Trace. June also released an album in 1977, 'Love A Lot, Hurt A Lot'. Predeceased by her second husband Jack Riddell, she was formerly married to theatrical agent Bob Vincent. Her generous, loving spirit will be greatly missed. June is survived by her children Michael Vincent, Holly Beth Vincent, and Nick Vincent (Lyn Bertles), and grandchildren Otis Rue and Alex and North Vincent. She is also survived by her dogs Annie and Charlie whom she loved dearly. Her remains will be interred at Forest Lawn/Cathedral City, CA; services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 816 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90017.
