Dear Anne,
We were trying to get in touch with Ed and you and that's how we discover that he passed away. We are so sorry for your loss and for waiting so long to reconnect.
We always remember your kindness to us. We appreciated very much the accommodations in Los Angeles and the fun we had with members of the family when our daughter graduated from UCLA Medical School. We remember fondly the retirement party you both gave Irv in Houston. Our thoughts are with you.

Dear Anne,
I was shocked to learn of Ed's passing. He was a wonderful boss, inspired leader, irrepressible, far-out-thinker, and a joy to work with. I will forever treasure the relationship we had.

Joe and I enjoyed dinner while in Rio de Janeiro about 15 years ago at the Copacabana Palace with Ann and Ed. We were living there at the time, and they were traveling. He was quite accomplished, smart and fun. We will remember him with fondness. A delightful couple!

My father was truly an imagineer as well as a talented engineer. He was so disturbed by the refugee loss of life at sea, that his most recent design efforts focused on creating a vessel that would not capsize. The models were in the garage. He also wanted it to be used to evacuate workers from the Gulf of Mexico.
