I just learned about Jim's passing from reading the St Mary's High School magazine. I saw Jim last at the St Mary's class of 1958 50th reunion in 2008. Jim was one of the "good guys" in our class, always with a smile on his face. I was privileged to have know him.

My condolences to Jim's family and many friends. He was intelligent, humorous, ethical, strong and compassionate. All wonderful qualities for a wonderful man.

In 1985 Jim went to Liebman Reiner and offered me a job as his secretary. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have been his secretary for 22 years until he retired in 2007. It was a pleasure to go to work everyday, to know him, to learn from him and an honor to have him be a part of my life and my family's for over 30 years. I will always have the upmost respect and love for him and will remember him always. I offer his wife Loretta and his family my sincerest condolences.

No one could have been luckier since Jim was my partner, co-worker and friend for almost 30 years. He and Loretta have always been positive forces in my life and the lives of my children. We feel privileged to have spent time with Jim and will remember the many things he taught us by the way he lived his life, made us laugh and especially his commitments to family, friends and fitness. My children and I send our deepest sympathy to Loretta and to all 4 children and grandchildren who as you know, are what he was most proud of.
