DONALD GRANT Obituary

Boston, MA. Don died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 9, 2011. Don was a Marine Veteran of World War II. He met and married the love of his life Peggy Williams. They were married for 61 years. Don owned and operated B & D Maintenance. Don devoted his life as a Euchristic Minister at St. Joseph's Catholic Church and to many Catholic ministries. Don is preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy Grant, and children, Maureen, Kenneth and Robert. Don is survived by his brother Robert, sons Donald, Bill, Dennis, Richard and Larry Grant. Daughters Margaret Vivorito, Theresa Gregg and Christine Peich, 23 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8pm with Rosary at 6:30pm on Sunday, Jan. 16th at Upland Chapel, 525 W. 18th St., Upland. Funeral Mass, Jan. 17th at 11am at St. Joseph's Church in Upland. Internment will be at 1:45pm at Riverside National Cemetery. Lada's Cucamonga Mortuary in charge of arrangements.

My Papa was a wonderful man. He did many wonderful things here on earth and now he is doing them with the Lord. I will miss him dearly but will always have him in my heart! LOVE YOU PAPA!

To my family in California, I am so sorry for the loss of our grandfather. I didn't know him like you all did but I am so thankful that I was able to bring my family out to see him this summer one last time. I will be thinking of you all this weekend as he is layed to rest. To my very special father in law and his family, he was a wonderful man, I had the pleasure of knowing him for the last 31 years. The pearly gates opened for him. I am honored to be a part of his family, may he rest in peace.
