Frank Meyerhoffer Obituary

MYERSTOWN Frank O. Meyerhoffer, 72, formerly of Bethel died Friday, July 15, 2011 in his residence. He was born in Grantville on April 25, 1939, son of the late Frank and Lillian Baker Meyerhoffer. He was a 1957 graduate of Hershey High School and a retired mechanic from Reese's Candy Co. Frank enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events and was an avid NASCAR fan particularly Mark Martin. He is survived by his companion of 15 years, Dorothy Funck, Myerstown; sons, Lee Meyerhoffer and his wife, Kimberly, Jonestown and Frank Meyerhoffer and his wife Susan, Wash.; daughter, Rae Ann Redman and her companion, Tommy Ellenberger, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, David Meyerhoffer, Texas; Kenneth Meyerhoffer, Del.; sisters, Betty Eckenrode, Mo.; Jane Freet, Hershey; step-son, Gary Funck and wife Patty, Jonestown; step-daughter, Donna Benedict and husband Nevin, Newmanstown and four step-grandsons. Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in Grand View Memorial Park, 500 N. Weber St., Annville. A procession to the graveside will gather at the Rohland Funeral Home on Wednesday and leave promptly at 9:30 a.m. www.rohlandfh.com
