Elsie I. Foundling

HOUSTON, TX Elsie Ivy Foundling, beloved mother and grandmother, 88, formerly of Ephrata and Beverly Hills, Fla., passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010, in Houston Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Frederick, on October 4, 2010. Elsie was born in Portsmouth, England, on July 31, 1922, to Thomas and Annie (Wilson) Woods, and immigrated to USA in 1963. She enjoyed knitting and was an award winning ballroom dancer. Survivors include son, Nigel K. Foundling and wife, Colleen of Lebanon; daughter, Glenis Webb of Houston, Texas; sister, Nell Harvey of Portsmouth, England; grandchildren, Mandy Foundling and Keith Foundling, both of Maytown, Terri St. Clair and husband, Philip Borawski of Rockwall, Texas, and Michael Allen St. Clair of Lancaster, Calif. She was preceded in death by brothers, John, Charles, Frederick, and Thomas; and sister, Annie. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.
