Doris DICKSON Obituary
Doris passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the age of 91 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Adam A. (Dick) Dickson. Doris leaves behind her children, Janice (Boschmann) of Barrhead, AB, Charles (Sharon) of Halifax, NS and Donna of Sedley, SK, 12 grandchildren, as well as numerous great- grandchildren. Doris enjoyed most of all caring for her husband and family. Her hobbies were knitting and sewing and she loved to dance. Many thanks to the caring staff of Santa Maria Senior Citizens Home for their kindness. The family will be having a private gathering to celebrate her life.

To my cousins Charlie and Donna, I extend my sincere condolences on the loss of their Mother. I was reviewing an Autograph book my Mom had in high school and the only entry she had from a family member was from Doris and her advice was simple and significant: be true to yourself. I've attached a copy of what your Mom wrote.
