John Otto Wild
John Wild was born June 24, 1925 on the family farm north of Silton, SK. He passed away peacefully in his home on May 28, 2014. John worked at many different occupations after service in the Army. These included lumberjack, painter, and farmer. Most people would remember him as owner of Midtown Barbers in Regina. He finished his work career as owner/operator of Silton General Store. John was predeceased by his grandson, Mark and daughter-in-law, Heather. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; son, Ray (Darby); daughter, Shelly (Ron) Patterson; son, Warren (Lori); son, Murray (Cathy); numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A gathering to Celebrate John's Life will be held in the Silton Hall on June 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Silton Cemetery.
