John Heuchert Obituary
John passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the age of 81 years. John is survived by his wife, Eleanor; children Wendy, Wesley (Theresa), Bradley (Jocelyn); grandchildren Luke (Lindsay), Tyler (Topasannah), Kristi (Dustin), Janine (Shaun), Taniya (Dylan), Sage (Mike); great grandchildren Abigail, Alexa, Hayden, Chloe, Mahlia, Liam, Tanner, Talise, Brandt, Kingston; brothers Eric (Janie) and Erwin (Sharon); sister Elfrieda; sisters in law Elsie and Bernice and numerous nephews and nieces. John was predeceased by his brothers Siegfried and Walter; sisters Hilda and Emily; brother in law Arnold and nephew Allan. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2015 – 4th Ave. N., Regina, SK. Interment will take place at Regina Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations in John's memory may be made to the Mount Olive Memorial Fund.

Grandpa and I a few days before he went into the hospital

Grandpa, I miss you. You could always make me smile with your jokes and playfulness. If I was upset, you used to say "you better pick up that lip before you step on it". When I would come visit and I would sit in your chair, you would tickle my feet. You were always able to get a smile out of me, and I thank you. There were times you knew I got in trouble, you'd shake your finger at me and wink at me. One of those bittersweet moments that I will never forget. You were kind to everyone. There were so many people at the funeral, all to see you. I was so proud to call you my grandpa. I love you, Grandpa. You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace to the first Heuchert to make it to 80 years old.
