Jason BEALS Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jason on Friday, October 31, 2014 at the age of 44 years. Jason was predeceased by his dad Beryl on November 3, 1996; grandparents Grant and Irene Fowlow and Vern and Barbara Beals; uncle Barry Beals. Jason will be forever missed by the "A-Team", his best friend and mother Dianne; brother Vance (Teri); nieces Jesseca and Breanna; uncle and aunt Dale and Dian Fowlow; cousins Gary, Chris, Darren and Rob Fowlow; uncles and cousins Don, Danny, Deanna and Curt Beals and their families.
"Who was Jason?"
He was a loving son, devoted brother, uncle and friend! He loved playing hockey and had a passion for metal work at home and at "work". He was a hard worker and a soul mate to all his friends. He was always generous to everyone he knew and those he didn't. Being an uncle to his nieces was his pride and joy, he was always so proud of them. Jason's smile and his hearty Beals laugh was contagious. His friends meant the world to him. In Jason's short life, he appreciated everything he had and was thankful for life and all his blessings. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Jason may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, 2702 - 12 Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1J2. To all the Beals family my deepest sympathy. I met Jason in the summer of 2009 and had the best summer of my life with him, we travelled to Calgary for the close of his house sale and we laughed the entire weekend! He taught me how to socialise the Canadian way! To him this was going out lots! I hated leaving him to return to England but always on the promise of a visit. We are so sorry for your loss! This hit us hard. We can't even imagine your pain. Kevin and I sat down and remininiced about all the fun times we had with Jason. Getting pulled over by the police on McCallum Ave while Jason was driving Kayley's flintstone car tops the list. There was also Toronto, sibling golf, etc.. It was a privledge to have known him. He had such wonderful red curls and an infectious smile. Once we found out that he was colour blind it was easier to interpret his colour choices in art class! JB...although you and I haven't spoken much in a few years since you moved back to Sask, but you and I sure did have alot of fun and laughs for many years whilst you lived in Calgary. I will always remember the countless days and nights we shared at The Trop..and OJ's - which was only 109 stumbling steps away from your front step! I am at a loss for words and don't even know where to start. Both Trevor and I have been close friends to Jason since we were in high school and became even closer when we all lived in Calgary together, and were even roommates for a while. He was always there for me to have fun with and share laughs but more importantly, to give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek whenever "the whooper snooper bit my nose." My heart is beyond sad for Jason, his mom Dianne, his brother Vance and his family, and for all of our friends. Thank you for all of the memories, laughs and tears that we shared Jay. Jason was one of the most special people I've had the honour of knowing. We spent all of our elementary and high school years together. Bealsie, what can be said that hasn't already?
The most loyal and caring friend, Jason would do anything for those he cared about. And there were a lot of people on this list. Jay was all heart.
Jason had a presence that could change the energy in any room by just walking in and saying hello. In his own way. You didn't have to know Jason well to see that his was not usually the quiet approach.
Jason had an unusually clear sense of what was right and wrong and had incredible integrity. He walked the walk no matter how hard. If you ever needed an honest answer, Jason was the friend to look to.

He came and sat with my brothers and I and we all had a good discussion on the importance of life and the relationships we keep with family and friends. These were important values he lived by. It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you to give you all my condolences. Jason was a great man and we always had a lot of fun together back in the high school days.
I always enjoyed playing Jason in hockey because we had more fun laughing at each other and trying to get the referee to call a penalty on the other. There was one time when it actually worked and I was sent to the penalty box and I could hear him laughing all the way back to his player bench.
