Richard McCullough Obituary

Richard J. McCullough, 55, of West Kittanning, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2015, at UPMC Mercy. He was born April 21, 1960, in Kittanning, a son of Cora P. (Ellenberger) McCullough, of Kittanning, and the late Richard A. McCullough. He was a bricklayer at Allegheny Ludlum in Brackenridge and belonged to Belknap United Church of Christ. He liked NHRA drag racing, Mack trucks, mowing his grass, his three Corgi dogs and sitting by the fire, but most of all he loved his family. In addition to his mother, survivors include his fiancee, Susan (Farster) Schwenk, of West Kittanning; sons, Ryan McCullough and wife, Salena, of Kittanning, and Jesse McCullough, of Kittanning; daughter, Angela Palilla and husband, Darin, of Brookline; grandchildren, Josie and Adam Palilla; brother, Thomas A. McCullough and wife, Maxine, of Weirton, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Sunday in SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME in Kittanning, with the Rev. John W. Snyder. Interment in Belknap Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Orphans of the Storm, 11878 State Route 85, Kittanning, PA 16201.
