Frederick Steele Obituary
He enlisted in the US Navy in 1944 and served through the end of WWII.
After the service he was trained as a mason and was self-employed in Greenville, New Hampshire. Fred lived an interesting life as a fisherman and antique dealer on Block Island, Rhode Island.
Fred always had great stories and he enjoyed people and was loved by all that met him.
He is survived by six children and spouses; Michael and Denise Steele, Robin Steele, N. Jennifer and Robert Howe, Matthew Steele, Pamela Button, Heidi and Mike Thibault and daughter-in-law, Jan Steele.
He was predeceased by his oldest son, Christopher A. Steele.
He is survived by 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He also leaves his dear friend, Doris Mosley. At his request, there will be no funeral.

Mr. Steele always enjoyed people. I can still see him and Bugsy on a Fourth of July float in Greenville, with my grandmother's nightgowns on. We can't forget the logo"If you think this float is bad, try the water"
He was a great neighbor. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
