Dear Donna - I will always remember your Dad as the "cool" Dad to visit us at U of M! So sweet and yet contemporary. My love goes out to you. Susan Trese

Donna, I was very sorry to read about your dad. I remember that every morning at St. Andrew, Alex would drive up with a car full of girls. He always looked like he loved every minute of those drives. He always made your friends feel welcome whenever we visited your house.

So very sorry for your loss. I'm not certain but Uncle Al or Aunt Helen were related to my parents, Tony & Ann Bely. We would see them at family functions and they were always kind and loving. After my mother passed in 2007, I found some photos of our families all together. Memories keep our loved ones close in heart.

I came to work for Mr. Walker and Mr. Butkovitch and his department were just around the corner from me. No one could have been nicer than Mr. Butkovitch, and I agree he was a wonderful mentor. He kept us all smiling and made work a great place to be. I left the FREEP in 1976, but I will remember him always.

Donna, I was so sorry to read about your Dad. I remember him as an usher at SSPP and meeting him at your house on Tireman when I had a huge crush on you. He seemed like a very wonderful and caring person and he always was so professional when he was ushering.
Peace be with you, Greg Ostrowski (Brighton, MI)

Over the years, I was in touch with Helen and Alex. I told them that my parents built the house on Dacosta in the 1950s. I had always wanted to visit your house with my brother, because he remembers helping our Dad build it. I'm sorry that your parents are gone.
God Bless all of you. Nancy Skrocki

Al hired me 46 years ago as a part-time rep at the service desk and as a office boy in circulation. Al was a terrific mentor and advisor. I saw Al about 6 years ago and he was his cheerful, positive, upbeat self. Great Guy!! I am sorry for your loss.

Donna,
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of your Father. I will be sure to let my Dad (Don Stork) know. They were friends for many years, having met in the Air Force. Dad is currently living in Florida. I fondly remember our family get-togethers, especially at Christmas.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Don and Shirley (Stork) Parent
