Annette L. "Raeanne" Gendreau

Annette L. "Raeanne" Gendreau, age 78, of Westport, formerly of Fall River where she lived most of her life, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Catholic Memorial Nursing Home. Annette was born in Fall River, a daughter of the late L. Arthur M. and Irene (Ringuette) Gendreau. Annette received a BS in Science and became a teacher for Catholic Schools from 1959-1973 and then for the Dartmouth Public School System from 1973-1997. She was a member of Retired Educators Association of Mass, MA Teachers Association, National Educators Association, MA State Retirees and Dominican Academy Alumnae. She enjoyed golf, friends and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Annette is survived by her niece and caregiver, Jennifer Kaliff of Fall River as well as several other nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Marilyn Gendreau; she was the sister of the late Vivianne Hoar, Madeleine Carroll and Raymond A. Gendreau. Annette's Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 10:00AM in St. Joseph's Church, 1355 North Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. At the request of the family visitation has been omitted.
