MARILYN HANCE

CRIDERSVILLE — Marilyn J. Hance, age 87, passed away August 29, 2015, at 4:57 am, at the Lima Memorial Health System.

Marilyn was born September 4, 1927 in Lima, OH, to the late Harold and Lorena C. (Brunswick) Routson. On December 3, 1947 she married Robert K. Hance who preceded her in death on November 10, 2010.

Marilyn was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved to play games and cards with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling to Las Vegas. Marilyn will be remembered as being a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Marilyn is survived by a daughter, Pamela (William) Lawson, a daughter, Katherine "Kate" (Randy) Duff, a son, R. Daniel Hance, a son, Michael James (Trista) Hance, a son, Jeffrey (Peggy) Hance, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, a brother, Donald (Theresa) Routson and a sister, Dee (Wayne) Terry.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Curl, a daughter-in-law, Alva Gay Hance, a sister, Jeanette Johns, a sister, Geraldine Muzleski, a sister, Connie Woodell, a brother, Robert Routson and a sister, Shirley Jean Goedde.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, in Lima. Officiating the service will be Rev. Kent Wilson. Burial will be in Bluelick Cemetery following the service.

Friends may call at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm.
