Marlys Copeland Obituary

Marlys M. Copeland, 80, of Moscow Mills, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 at her residence.

On Oct. 30, 1954, she married the love of her life, Raymond Copeland in St. Louis. The couple was blessed with four children, Beverly, Theresa, Raymond and Ronald.

When she was not working, Marlys could be found working in her yard with her many flowers, raking leaves, and just enjoying the beautiful outdoors. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing and watching her absolute favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinals. Marlys watched every single one of their games and enjoyed rooting them on. She enjoyed watching her favorite television program, "Day's of Our Lives", Monday through Friday. Marlys loved her special little dog, "Cupcake" and she was always at Marlys side.
She is survived by her beloved daughters: Beverly Eaklor of Moscow Mills, and Theresa Ann, and her husband, Darrell Huffman of Troy; her four grandchildren, Brandy Eaklor and significant other, Billy Lawrence of Orlando, FL., James R. and Christina Huffman of Troy, Jason and Leigh Ann Huffman of Chicago, Ill., William and Robyn Huffman of Troy, great-grandchildren: James Huffman Jr., Christopher Huffman, Abagail Huffman, Claire Huffman, Carter Huffman, Sophie Huffman, Wagner Huffman, and Max Huffman, and her twin brother, Ray Nelson and wife, Marcia of Benton, LA., as well as many other relatives and friends.
