Elmer Lloyd Bahn

MT. PULASKI - Elmer Lloyd Bahn, 96, of Mt. Pulaski, formerly of Chestnut, died at Decatur Memorial Hospital at 7:30 A.M. on January 11, 2012.

Mr. Bahn was born on November 6, 1915 in Mt. Vernon, Indiana, the son of Edward and Lydia Connor Bahn. He married Frances Callison on September 9, 1942 in Las Vegas, NV. He later married Jackie Tanner on October 15, 1974, also in Las Vegas. Both wives preceded him in death. He was a heavy equipment operator on road maintenance.

He is survived by two brothers Veneil (Kathryn) Bahn and Vernell (Dorothy) Bahn, both of Mt. Pulaski. He is preceded in death by his parents, both wives, three brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday January 13, 2011 at Laenna Cemetery in Chestnut with Rev. Christopher Decker officiating. Full military rites will be accorded by the Mt. Pulaski American Legion Post #447. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski is handling services.
