I only wish I had the priviledge to know Eloise longer. She was probably the most intelligent person I have ever met. She was one of the few people to be up to date on almost every current event possible. She was a great person. She will truly be missed.

As a former student at JHS, I remember Mrs. Ridder well...she had a "special" zeal for everything she did. I'm sorry for your loss and pray that God will bring comfort to her family and friends.

Eloise was a special friend! She was so knowledgeable in so many areas. An avid reader and eager to share her thoughts, and memories. Eloise could relate to all ages, and everyone loved her. She will be missed by many, especially Marge and grandchildren...and us! Al and Kay Furman

We had the pleasure of knowing Eloise and Andy primarily through the Jacksonville Family Campers Club on Lake Jacksonville many years ago. Wonderful people. What I remember well about Eloise was her common-sense approach to things....a controversy would be going on in a camping club meeting and Eloise could just calmly and matter-of-factly set things in place with her comments. She will be missed, but know she is happy being reunited with her Andy.
