Lorena,
I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom. I still remember her taking over our Camp Fire Girls Group. What’s funny is I just found a picture of some of us at our Camp Fire Girls Sleepover at Mickie Grove !! I think we were around the 6th Grade. You we’re actually trying to stand on Nancy’s Moms’ shoulders . We all had fun in grade school and your Mom was always involved.
It seems like yesterday but it was so many years ago. Such fun memories. I know how close you and your Mom were and I know how much you’ll miss her. You were lucky to have her in your life for so many years. She was a strong lady. Seeing you guys walking always made me smile.
Take care of yourself and Remember all the good times and Love you shared with your Mom. She will always remain in your Heart ❤

Mrs. Comer, that's how I knew her. I only knew her when I was a kid and she was always so nice. My sister Ninfa called me telling me she passed. That's how much she meant to us, to call each other about her. My very first job was with Mr. Comer. I wheeled barreled hay to the horses. I couldn't have been 10 years old yet ( insert child labor laws here ) it gave me joy to be around horses and he knew it. One year Mr. & Mrs. Comer gave me a necklace for Christmas. I wore it today in remembrance ( yes I still have it ). They are together once again and that makes me happy. Thank God for memories. To their entire family, you have my deepest condolences.

My mom called me today to tell me of Faith’s passing. I could hear the admiration and high regard in my moms voice as she tearfully spoke about Faith. She was the kind of woman that had a strong, loving and let’s get the job done presence about her, and she always had a smile on her face mom said. I myself remember going trick or treating to Jack and Faith’s home as a little girl, they were so welcoming and fun. Many years later I would see Faith at the post office and she remembered me and asked how my mom was. Thank you Faith, for leaving a wonderful lasting impression on our hearts. To all of Faith’s family, our condolences, peace, love and strength.

Ninfa and the Herrera family.

I admired Faith's no nonsense attitude, keeping herself productive as well as those around her, along with her kindness & warm smile inspired me as a young woman in my early 20's. For a couple of years in the early '90's when my oldest daughter was a preschool age we had the pleasure and honor to participate in the annual Christmas cookie baking production for gifting to the residents & staff of all the local convalescent hospitals that the Rebekahs that was such an event that it extended to Jack & Faye's pool house kitchen. Never in my life before or since then have I seen so many varieties, quality, & quantity of cookies. Feel blessed to have spent a few years in the wake that this wonderful woman created with her always getting things done enerhy. For Dave & Lorena, Mike, Jeff, Jamie, and the rest of her grandchildren my condolences for your loss. May Gods love bring you comfort & peace for the loss of your Mom & Grandma.
