As a kid, my family would often take trips to California. Whenever we would stay Uncle Dick and Aunt Rita, Uncle Dick would have some project planned that we could help with. Whether it was irrigating, wiring the pool house or hauling things out of the basement, there was always work to do. The great thing was, that he made you feel important. I think he taught me the joy of working hard. I am grateful to have had such a great man as an uncle. We will miss him.

Rita and Family~

It's hard to believe that Dick won't be here with us any longer... but of course his wonderful, kind and loving spirit that was so comfortable to be around still lives in everything and everyone he touched. You all are such a treasure, and will continue to be~

My sincerest love to you all,

Dear Rita,
I was so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was such a good man, kind and generous. He certainly holds a very special place in my heart as the righteous priesthood holder who baptized me. I am so grateful for that ordinance that started the legacy of the Preszler family in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Sorry we can't be in CA for the service this weekend. I'm traveling all week and next for business. Please give my best and warm wishes of sympathy to the whole family.
Much Love,
Dave
