Ruth Goehring Obituary
Ruth passed away January 7, 2014 in Lodi, CA. Ruth graduated from Galt High School in 1945 and worked as a Postal clerk for ten years. She married Harold A. Goehring in 1952. She is survived by her loving husband Harold of Lodi, their two daughters Faye Harmon (Robert) and Nancy Yarborough (Craig), four grandchildren Ashley Woehl (Paul), Carly Harmon, Jenna Atwood (Tyler), and Matthew Yarborough.
Ruth enjoyed her grandchildren so very much. She loved to garden and enjoyed flowers and decorating. She was a loving giving lady and will be missed by her family and friends. She was a former member of Children's Home Society of California (Lodi Peek-a-Boo Chapter) and a member of First Baptist Church of Lodi.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church - 267 N. Mills Ave - Lodi 95242.
Services will be private.

My Mother Mary Frances (Cowley) Erich met your Mom while working at the Post Office also. She loved your Mom and your Dad. She thought Ruth was one of the most beautiful, gracious and caring people she had ever met and thought Harold was a very kind and wonderful gentlemen. I lost my Mom 15 years ago so I know the heart break you are going through. You will all be in my thoughts!

We were sorry to hear about Ruth. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Harold & his family. We mailed a card, but it was returned. Would like Harold's address if possible.

It took me a long time to find her obit.
So sorry to hear of her passing. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. Tell Herald that I plan to visit him next time I am in Lodi. Love to all.

Nancy - it was so nice to run into you just a few weeks ago and talked about our families and how special your parents are. The Heavens have opened for the arrival of a new angel.

I just want to tell the family how sorry I am to hear of Mrs Goehring's passing. I only knew of her through when she came to my line at the Lodi Costco food court. I loved waiting on her and she always came to my line. She was just such a nice lady. I really enjoyed talking to her and our quick little visits we had. She took me outside to the tables once to meet her husband. She said "this is Margaret the lady that lives on Live Oak Rd. She had remembered that from the first time we talked and she asked me if I lived in the country. Again I am very sorry to hear that she passed on and my sympathy goes out to the family.
