Jim and I shared a love of animals, especially cats. I will miss Jim for so many reasons, and our mutual love of cats is one of them. I especially loved all the photos he posted about his cat. I imagine he's in heaven right now, surrounded by purring furry friends.

Most of the time that I saw Jim over the past few years was while he was with his children sharing a meal togather. Maybe all three of them togather or just one. He was always so patient and loving with them. They each seemed to enjoy thier own special relationship with him. He would sit and listen as they would talk, and take time to make sure they had all they needed. I know he loved his wife and she him. She was able to give him a special gift a few years ago of her kidney and with that they had a special bond. Im happy that they both did not seem to worry about the little things but that they made thier time together count. His mother and brother were very important to him he always had good things to say about them. I know his whole family will miss him very much, so I pray that God will help them during this time to remember the fun they shared. He was a quite man with a big voice. I will remember him that way.

Jim was a valued expert on rare coins and precious metals. More than that, he was a rare person and a precious friend. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to his family.

Jim, a man who lived his faith, loved his family, and blessed his friends will be remembered well. God's timing is always perfect though sometimes beyond our understanding. My prayers and compassion are with you, Melissa and children.

Jim was truly one of the most decent and kindly people I have ever met. A complete gentleman. He had a devastatingly dry sense of humor. I'll never forget that little twinkle he'd get in the eye when he was amused by something. Rest easy old friend. You will be missed.

My sympathy to the family and frineds of Jim. I would talk with him on the CB radio many years back when he was a teenager. I had the chance to meet him when his family adopted some cats. I am sorry that he left the earth so young.

What can I say about a friend of 30 years? We had fun, lots of good talks, and I had the privilege of watching him fall in love with Melissa! Then to hear baby Rachel toddling around upstairs. And he led my husband Mike to the Lord, as well as the years he spent with Mike's brother Bill Click. We will always be grateful for that. I will miss Jim very much; like most friends, you think they'll be around forever. Melissa, Rachel, Ben and Nathan, I am praying for you in this tremendous loss.

It's amazing how this one man touched the lives of so many of us, sharing his knowledge and friendship -- and giving us the courage to try harder when the deck is stacked against us. Thank you, Jim.

Long time friend and colleague, teacher and endless source of wise counsel. God called the wrong man home at the wrong time.
