Gerard Burckhard Obituary
Gerard J. Burckhard, "Jerry", formerly of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away peacefully on December 27th in The Villages, FL at the age of 69. Jerry retired in 2002 as Associate Warden after a long career with the Westchester County Department of Corrections. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Margaret "Peggy" Burckhard, his son and daughter in-law, Brian and Dana Burckhard, and his two granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Natalie, his brothers and sisters Joseph Burckhard, Marybeth Sevelovitz, Barbara Parthemore, and Kevin Burckhard. He was predeceased by his son Gerard "Jerry" Burckhard Jr., his brothers Paul Burckhard and George Burckhard.
