Patricia Chamberlain Obituary
AGE: 89 • Yorktown Heights
Patricia Ann Chamberlain, 89, passed away peacefully on 10/17/2016. She was born 4/17/27 in Bronxville, graduated from Roosevelt High School in Yonkers & attended New Rochelle College. She later earned a Masters in Education at Fordham University. She went on to teach kindergarten in the Yorktown School District for 20+ years. In 1948, she married the love of her life, Arthur. They resided in Yorktown Heights while raising their 4 children. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Arthur Chamberlain in 2004. She is survived by her 4 children, Kathryn Subrize, Barbara Murray, Arthur (Kip) Chamberlain Jr. & Joanne Smith; 9 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. A memorial will be held Wednesday from 11am to noon at McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.,895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction. Friends & relatives are invited. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson for a private service where she will rest alongside her husband. Please visit www.mchoulfuneralhome.com.

My thoughts and prayers go to all of Mrs Chamberlain's loved ones. She was my teacher at Mohansic Elementary School during the '61-'62 school year. My family had just moved to Yorktown from the Bronx the summer before. She was a warm, kind and wonderful lady - and, more than welcoming me to school, she helped me make friends in my new home town. Best of all, she brought music into our everyday classroom experience, recognized my love of it and encouraged me to make the most of Mrs Watkins' music class (another wonderful lady). Rest in peace - I'll always remember you.
