AGE: 90 • Croton-on-Hudson
Anne Dorien of Croton-on-Hudson, NY, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017. She was 90 years old.
Anne was born in Chicago, IL to the late Otto Keller and Anna Steiner on February 24, 1927. She married her beloved husband, Clinton F. Dorien on May 12, 1951 at Holy Name of Mary Church. Clinton predeceased her on July 23, 2012. Anne worked at Albert Machinery for several years. She retired from Pace University after 20 years of dedicated service. Anne was an active member of the Croton Seniors. She also enjoyed volunteering at the Croton Historical Society.
She is survived by her loving sister, Norma Keller; beloved sons, Jim (with wife, Susan), Stephen (with wife, Tracey); adoring grandchildren, Megan, Michael (with wife, Lauren), Kayla, Tyler, Beau, and Cassie; great grandchildren, Lily and Luke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, May 27th at Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery also in Croton.

It was 1955 and my parents bought a house in Croton on Hudson. It was then we became neighbors to Anne and Clint Dorien. She remained in her house to the end. I often spoke to her at Shoprite and we always had a smile on her face. My old neighborhood has now changed.
