Dr. Cervoni is responsible for most of the fillings still in my teeth And I'm nearly 72) from his first office in Westchester Square. His dental school classmate was Dr. Nick Albanese. My Mom and Dad were friendly with Nick's sister, Marianne and her Mom and Dad. They owned a deli on Gun Hill Road near Evander Childs High Scoool. Followed Dr. Cervoni to his new office on Metropolitan Avenue near Benedict Avenue. He was a gentleman and a gentle dentist. RIP.

DR CERVONI, WILL ALWAYS BE REMEMBERED BY MY FAMILY AND THE DENTAL COMMUNITY, HE TAUGHT US SO WELL TO TAKE CARE OF OUR PATIENTS, AND DO THE ABSOLUTE BEST FOR THEM. HIM AND "SUSAN" WERE AN AMAZING TEAM AT THE FRONT OF THE OFFICE. THEY WOULD EDUCATE AND TEACH THE PATIENTS THE BEST POSSIBLE OPTIONS FOR THEIR SMILES. MYSELF , DR. FOPPIANI AND DR KRAMER SPENT MANY YEARS TAKING CARE OF HIS PATIENTS AND LEARNED VALUABLE LIFE LESSONS, IN DENTISTRY AND IN ETHICAL PRACTICE. HE WAS ALWAYSY THE "TOP DOG" AND HE MADE SURE WE KNEW IT. DR CERVONI, I THANK YOU FOR ALL THE AMAZING STORIES AND WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE YOU GAVE ME. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOUR LOUD AND BOISTEROUS VOICE, TELLING ME WHAT TO DO. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. MAY HIS MEMORY BE ETERNAL. AMEN+

We have all been touched by this great man's love of family, love of dentistry, and LOVE OF LIFE! I can remember, like it was yesterday (30 years ago during my 1st month of practice), his firm and challenging words of advice to strive for excellence .. he then barked some encouraging words such as, I know you can do it' and shook me vigorously by the lapels of my suit jacket for about 5 minutes. What a great wholehearted welcome to the profession of dentistry!
Dominic's vim and vigor was inspiring
His smile persevering
His level of sincerity stratospheric!
Sometimes it is hard to say goodbye, but the Lord's will.. will be done. We know you are in the brilliance of the Lord's Kingdom.
We will miss you Dom, but your spirit lives on with us all. Rest in Peace dear mentor and friend.

Mrs. Cervoni, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your husband was always sweet and kind to me. Paula, I can still remember your father in his white tennis shorts and shirt at the NYAC! Reading his obituary, helps me to see what a lovely person he was.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
