Gregory S. Price, P.E. of Verplanck, NY died February 24, 2014. He was born in Flushing, NY on November 24, 1955. He is survived by his wife, Laureen Price and his three daughters, Constantina, Kalliope, and Demetra. He leaves his parents, George and Lyn Price of Cortlandt Manor and his brother, Glenn of Verplanck.

Gregory graduated from Manhattan College with a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering. He was employed as a Public Health Engineer at the Rockland County Health Dept., and was a member of the NY State Society of Professional Engineers. He earned his Eagle Scout Award acting as Scoutmaster for the Keon School.

Visitation is Friday, 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, 10 AM at the Assumption Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lustgarten Foundation at curePC.org.

We were at chemo together. Irwin was a 10 year survivor of pancreatic cancer. He was diagnosed with dementia about 15 months ago. He passed on September 18, 2023.

We shared the chemo waiting room with Greg, his wife and brother during his brave and gallant fight against this deadly disease. Irwin just celebrated 9 years cancer free, one of the very few lucky ones. Our sincere condolences.

We met at Columbia Presbyterian chemo center and shared golden moments with him, his wife and brother. Irwin was having chemo at the same time. Irwin just celebrated his 8 year anniversary since being diagnosed. One of the lucky 10%. We remember Greg fondly.

words can not express how we feel at this difficult time. The loss of such a wonderful husband, father and friend. We will remember all the wonderful times spent together at the Ikarian conventions. Greg expressed how much he loved vacationing in Ikaria. We will remember Greg with his big, cheerful smile. You will always be in our hearts and prayers.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. Greg was a good man, co-worker & a great father & husband. Was his secretary for 2 years. All I could say will miss the man. sad. HAng in there wife & children & family & relatives. Greg will be missed.
