AGE: 50 • White Plains
James Kenneth Herbert died Tuesday, January 19, 2015. James was a resident of White Plains, NY and was President of CI Spectrum, an information technology consulting firm in White Plains. He was born in White Plains, NY on March 3, 1965, and was a graduate of Archbishop Stepinac High School and Manhattan College. James is survived by his loving partner Cynthia Aylsworth, and was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Margaret Herbert of White Plains. James was a devoted partner, a man of many friends, and he will be truly missed by all who loved him. James will be long remembered for his humor and his love of God and country. Friends will be received at Ballard-Durand Funeral Home, 2 Maple Avenue at South Broadway, White Plains, NY on Friday, January 22, from 5-7 pm, followed by a service at 7 pm.

Jim always had a smile, a positive attitude and was very friendly to me and many of us at 34 South Broadway in White Plains NY where he spent most of his time professionally. I will miss his all so prominent & powerful greeting, at the entrance where he and his buddies would gather to have their "coffee" prior to the start of his day. I had the pleasure of saying good morning and chating to Jim for 10 years.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
