So thankful for Doc's life & work! Doc was correct that our EHS Class of '70 was too full of ourselves! My parents so enjoyed working with Doc in Eastchester Home/School Association. Doc, thanks for hiring me as an EHS teacher - for even amidst the strike Tom & I met & later married. Thank you for being good to us. Also thank you for helping me later on obtain my Salem HS teaching job with terrific recommendation. Finally, thank you for Peg's & your Christmas cards through the years & for keeping Christ in Christmas. Rest in God's peace, Cheryl & Tommy

What a man, what an educator, what a leader! Easily one of the best I've ever been associated with. So fortunate to have had him as a principal at RHS and my boss at EHS. I will forever be grateful for his trust and confidence in giving me my first basketball head coaching job at EHS. My wife, Olivia Pierorazio, and I had the utmost respect and admiration for Doc. Our sincere condolences to his family.

Dr. D'Ascoli started his teaching career at Gorton High School, his Alma Mater. He was also a high school football official. Mr.D as he was affectionately addressed was a friend to many of us at Gorton. He was always available to listen to our problems. A brilliant career for a brilliant man and he will be missed.
