Sr. Patty Ann Reilly was a brilliant woman and a sterling teacher. She was kind and considerate and had a huge memory filled with love. She was a Dickens scholar like no other and introduced her students to the wonders of his writing and his stories. She loved research as much as she loved teaching. She was the best administrator St. Thomas Aquinas College had...clear thinking, organized, fair and responsible.
She will be missed.

I was a student of Sr. Patricia Ann at STAC back in the 80's (class of 85) She was the most wonderful professor that I ever had. I learned more pratical knowlege in her communication in Business course, to this day I use what I learned in her class. She always had a smile for you and some best encouragement and advise. When I was only 21 my sister died and I was so surprised at the care and concern of Sr. Patricia Ann attending the viewing and saying the roseary, she gave me such a hug and sense of peace with her presence. I know she is now in heaven dancing with Jesus, God certainly blessed us with her presence here on earth.

I have fond memories of Sr. Patricia Ann, she was a wonderful teacher and friend. My dad was an Alumni of St Agnes. His last year at high school was her first year at St Agnes.
Many years later they were reunited when I became a student at STAC and they recognized each other.
They will now be reunited again.
Rest in peace Sr. Patricia Ann.

Sr. Patricia Ann was an amazing English teacher. As a student at STAC in the '80s, she challenged me and enlightened me more than any other teacher I knew, and I will never forget her. She was a warm, loving person as well. What a loss for academia and humanity.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
