TULLIO SELLECCHIA Obituary

Tullio Ubaldo Sellecchia, 90, died on January 21, 2010 at his home in Scarsdale surrounded by his loving family. Married to Adrian for 62 years and was the beloved father of JoAnn (the late Fred) Emmerich, Vincent (LouAnn) and Joseph (Andrea). The grandfather of Fred, Matthew, Dana, Lauren, Michael, Christopher, Mark, Alexa and Kristen. Survived by his sister Osvalda Riocci and many nieces and nephews. Tullio was predeceased by his sister Yola Iezzi, and brothers Dominick and Primo Sellecchia. Born in L'Aquila, Italy he immigrated to the United States in 1937. Tullio served as sergeant for the US Army during WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star. His devotion to his family was his greatest joy. Golf and gardening filled his spare time. A contractor during his working years, he graciously used these skills to help his family and friends. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath & Son Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial Our Lady of Fatima Church, Scarsdale, on Monday January 24 at 10am. In Lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to the Calvary Hospice 1740 Eastchester Rd. Bronx, NY 10461.
