MARY HELEN MARRETT

Mary Helen Marrett, 94, of White Plains, NY, died of a stroke 2 am, March 19, 2003. She was born in New York, NY in 1908 to Mary Ellen (Lavin) Marrett and William Francis Marrett, both deceased. She is survived by seven nieces and nephews Pamela Marrett, San Diego, CA, David Marrett, Riverside, CA, Barbara Marrett, Friday Harbor, WA, John Marrett, Mendham, NJ, Robert Langelius, White Plains, Gregory Langelius, New York, William Langelius, Arizona. Predeceased by one brother Joseph Marrett and three sisters Margaret (Greta) Langelius, Elizabeth Marrett, Jane Marrett. She was a member of Mensa and Saint John the Evangelist in White Plains where she lived for 12 years. She was Executive Secretary for Conrad L. Worth (the head of the National Park Service), The Rockefeller Brothers (1950-1970) on the staff for Laurance S. Rockefeller and the New York Public Library in Public Relations. Mary was held in the highest esteem by the Rockefeller family and her co-workers. Reposing at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
