James Golub Obituary
James Robert Golub, of Larchmont, NY, passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2017 at the age of 88. He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and medical degree from Columbia University. Dr. Golub completed his residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital and practiced as a Board Certified Allergist in New Rochelle for over 40 years.
Jim was a longtime member of Beach Point Club, serving as Chairman of the Pool, Beach and Bathhouse committee, spending mornings on the tennis courts and lunchtime dining with the ROMEO club.
He is survived by his beloved wife Anne; daughters Jennifer (Steve) and Melissa (Bob), step-sons Michael (Kathy), John (Sandy) and Bill (Pam), grandchildren: Marina, Layla, James, Nathan (Brandi), Nora, Scott, Jeff, Jane and Christina (Kyle), and great-grandchildren: Jesper and Deegan.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 14 at Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont. The family will receive friends from noon to 1 PM, followed by the service at 1PM. Visitors will be received at home following the service until 8pm.
