Your Honor
God bless you and your family. I had the pleasure of working with you during your time in Yonkers Family Court. Also enjoyed when we cooked Matzo Balls and other Jewish home cooking together. Will always cherish those days. So sad. God bless

In this world gone mad, managing without Polly has been hard and weird, now you're in the same place. I'm so sorry. My advice is to avoid the news for a while.

Dear Oren, Carrie, David, Jessica, Emily, Zachary, Anne, Franklin, Daniel, Maya, Lia, Diana, Phyllis & Alvin:
My memories of Alison go back to my sisters' friendship with her, and the summer she worked at Paul's restaurant. She was the liveliest waitress we ever had, and the word "friendly" just doesn't cut it. At the end of the night, she would smile as wide as all of Monticello and shriek, as we counted them up together: "TIPS!" Losing her is, for my three sisters and me, like losing a fifth sister. It's going to be very hard for the rest of our lives. I'm so sorry for your loss of Alison. She was a very, very loved personality explosion with the world's biggest heart. -- Beth Buechler

Oren,
Not only did Alison and I graduate from New Rochelle H.S.together, but today I realized our years together included elementary and junior high school. It was my great luck and joy to find her again 40 years later at Bet Am Shalom Synagogue where her singing and wit enriched my life and all those who knew her. Your loss is shared by those whose lives she enriched.

To Alison in the ethereal hereafter, your brilliance shines on through your beloved children and grandchildren. Your gift of your daughter Jessica is loved and cherished by our family and especially by Greta, whose world changed through knowing her and you. Blessings abundant upon all who love you.

My years spent on Purimspiel with Alison were so much fun! I'll never forget "Bagel" to the tune of "Day-oh". She lived life to the fullest.

It is with shock and great sadness that I just learned of Alison's passing. Until just recently she communicated regularly through social media on matters of great I mportance. My heartfelt condolences go out to you Orin and to all of Alison's other family members who were undoubtedly touched by her love , her laughter and her devotion. I will always remember Alison for her passion, her extraordinary intelligence, her humor and her determination and commitment to making this a better world. Alison will be sorely missed. May she Rest In Peace.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Although your grief may seem unbearable, know that God wants to comfort you. Pour out your heart to him in prayer and experience the peace that only he can give. Jeremiah 29:11*

Alison's first cousin Emily Spector, her four children Connie, Barbara, Larry and Doug, their children, and grandchildren send our deepest sympathy. We have so many fond memories of times spent together over the decades as well as recent chats and visits over the Internet. Her energy and passion will live on in all our hearts. And may cherished memories bring those closest to her and all who loved and admired her comfort and peace.
