Richard Teegarden Obituary
Richard F. Teegarden, 64, of Dobbs Ferry, passed away on March 4, 2014. He is survived by sons, Lance and Keith; brothers, Dennis, Gary, Randy and Todd, and grandchildren, Gavin, Ella and Alexa. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Richard's name to the American Cancer Society. Interment TBD.

My uncle Rich ( my dad's brother) was also my Godfather. Every time my he and my aunt Peggy along with my cousins Lance and Keith would come to my grand Parents house in New Rochelle, My uncle Rich would always give me the biggest hug and stick a $100 bill in my pocket and would wink at me and say "don't tell your dad" lol. It crazy to think how many years have gone by. Unfortunately Yesterday my cousin Keith informed us that Lance has passed away. The sorrow I feel for Keith is measurable as he is the only one left from his immediate family.

I was so sorry to hear of Richie's passing and would like express my deepest sympathies. He was such a special man who meant so much to many and will be dearly missed by his friends. I will always remember his beautiful smile!

Everyone who knew Richard knew that he loved Bob Dylan but Frank Sinatra's song “I did it my way” best describes the way Richard lived his life.
Rich, I miss you already. You will always be in my heart. May you find peace at last.

It is with great saddness to hear the passing of my dear friend, richie. l am completely heartbroken. He was my first boyfriend in High School. l was very happy to read on facebook he finally went to Italy. l did not hear from him after that. Ann Marie Trotta
