Mimi took care of my sister Rebecca and me for many, many years in Lompoc - I believe she was our first caretaker besides our parents, and for over a decade she would stay with us every Wednesday night when they went on their weekly date. I still think of Mimi often, to this day, especially as I am now in the position of finding caretakers for my own daughter. I remember the genuine love and care she showed us. I am very sad to hear the news of her passing, and my condolences go to Jana and her family.

"Mimi" took care of my daughters (Jennifer and Robin) whenever I went on business trips for a week at the time, or just needed a day out. I could go out of town and know that she would love them, care for them, make their favorite foods, teach them, and make them laugh! They were always safe in her care, and she was practically part of the family. My condolences to Jana and the rest of the family. She will be missed by all her knew her.

"Mimi" holds a special place in my heart after the many years she knew my family and took care of my sister and I. I am saddened to hear of her passing and only wish we had been in touch throughout the years, as I thought of her fondly. My condolences go out to the family and friends who will surely miss her sweet spirit.

I am very fond of the childhood memories I have of "Mimi". She took care of my sister and I back in our youth, 20 years ago. She was not the usual babysitter one would find...she genuinely cared about us and spent time teaching us about life and allowing us to learn through our imaginations. I have always remembered her, and appreciate the few years she impacted our lives. ~ Thank you Mimi ~ God Bless your family and loved ones who are missing you. Love Always
