ABOUT 9 YEARS AGO I STARTED WORKING AT POLONIS LIQUOR. I THINK IT WAS MY SECOND DAY ON THE JOB AND IN WALKED A MAN AND STOOD THERE LOOKING AT ME. THE FIRST WORDS OUT OF HIS MOUTH WERE "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" . I JUST STOOD THERE LOOKING AT HIM AND THEN I SAID IM THE NEW GIRL, WHO THE HELL ARE YOU????. WE STARTED CRACKING UP. FROM THAT DAY ON WE BECAME FRIENDS AND AS TIME PAST WE EVENTUALLY BEGAN WORKING TOGETHER AS SKIP GOT HIRED TO COOK BBQ. ALSO WE WORKED TOGETHER AT THE LOCAL HOMELESS SHELTER. SO ITS SAFE TO SAY THAT I SPENT MOST OF MY DAYS WITH SKIP FOR PROBABLY 5 YEARS. HE WAS A REAL KICK IN THE PANTS. OH HE COULD HAVE HIS CRABBY MOMENTS, BUT THAT MAN WAS AS SWEET AS THEY COME. HE WAS VERY FOND OF MY KIDS AND MADE IT A POINT TO PUT ON A SUIT AND A TIE AND ATTEND MY DAUGHTERS GRADUATION. (YES I SAID A SUIT & A TIE!!!!!) HER OWN FATHER DID'NT EVEN COME. HE TREATED MY SON AS IF HE WERE HIS OWN GRANDSON. AND EVER MOTHERS DAY HE'D RIDE BY MY HOUSE ON HIS BIKE AND BRING ME A FLOWER. THE POINT IM TRYING TO MAKE IS THAT MY CHILDREN AND I FELL VERY BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN SKIP AND TO HAVE HAD THE PRIVILAGE TO SEE AND EXPERIENCE A SIDE OF SKIP THAT NOT TO MANY PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF HIS FAMILY EVER GOT TO. SKIP WAS A VERY LOVING AND KIND MAN. WE WILL MISS HIM AND HIS CONTAGIOUS LAUGH. AND THE WAY HE ALWAYS SMELLED HIS CIGARETTES BEFORE HE SMOKED THEM. HAHA. WE LOVE YOU SKIP, REST IN PEACE.

P.S. I'LL MISS THE RIBS

LOVE ALWAYS, TESS, ELENA & DANIEL
