Geneva Crain Farison Obituary

CRAIN FARISON, GENEVA, 92, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at her residence in Estero, FL.

Born in Washington County, she was the former Geneva Hardin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Keith Crain; her parents, Ezra and Ophia Hardin; and brother, William Hardin.

She is survived by husband, Lawrence F. Farison; sisters, Leviana "Pete" Hall and Colleen "Tootie" Cusick; son, Ken Crain (Carol); daughter, Kathy Shaughnessy (Barry); grandchildren, Corey, Kelly, Tricia, Michelle, and Stephanie; and great-grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Shelby and Cohen.

Her funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with a private entombment to follow. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kosair Children's Hospital.

Dear Larry and family,

We are so sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you and the rest of the family. Geneva was a special person and we enjoyed our many games of dominos and dining out on Friday nights. She will be missed.
