Geneva Crain Farison, 92, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at her residence in Estero, Fla. Born in Washington County, she was the former Geneva Hardin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Keith Crain; her parents, Ezra and Ophia Hardin; and a brother, William Hardin.
Survivors include Lawrence F. Farison; two sisters, Leviana "Pete" Hall and Colleen "Tootie" Cusick; a son, Ken (Carol) Crain; a daughter, Kathy (Barry) Shaughnessy; five grandchildren, Corey, Kelly, Tricia, Michelle, and Stephanie; and four great-grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Shelby, and Cohen.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, with a private entombment to follow.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Kosair Children's Hospital.

Dear Larry and family,
We are so sorry for your loss and our prayers are with you and the rest of the family. Geneva was a special person and we enjoyed our many games of dominos and dining out on Friday nights. She will be missed.
